Battle Nations is a sequel to game released previously by the same company named Trade Nations. Both games remind somewhat on the famous Facebook game Farmville, so if you like such kind of entertainment, Battle Nations could be a great game to play. The game story says that you are in charge of a military camp and that you need to organize your troops in a productive way. You will need to build up your base and add houses and workshops for your army before you can proceed with your mission for world domination.
As in similar games your goals are to earn as much gold and as many experience points as possible. This will help you to get other resources which you’ll need to purchase in order to equip your army and overpower enemy armies. You can play the game with your friends, attack them or help them if someone else is attacking them.
Battle Nations features nice graphics and audio effects, and the game itself is fast although it loads rather slowly at the beginning. Be prepared that this is not an action game so the pace of the game is slow at occasions but if you enjoy strategy games this shouldn’t bother you too much. All in all, Battle Nations is a reasonably good strategy and building game, and another advantage is that it’s currently available as a free download in the App Store. It is available in both iPhone and iPad version. Let us know did you like playing Battle Nations, if you decide to try it out.
World of Goo is one of those interesting games for iPhone and iPad which are great fun and at the same time require you to utilise your thinking and planning skills. It is one of most interesting and dynamic games in its genre of physics based puzzles. In fact what at the first look seems as another average game turns out to be one big hit which could become a big name among iOS gamers. Some people will certainly notify that there are some similarities with an old game which was a big hit during ’90, the Lemmings. Instead of taking care of cute but stupid Lemmings this time you have to guide your friendly goos through different dangers to their pipes. You will accomplish your missions by using some of the goo balls in more or less complicated devices which enable the rest of goes to escape.
One of the challenges you’ll have to solve is to plan carefully how much goo balls to spend on each task. If you spend too many of them less can escape. You scores will depend on how many goo balls have you saved and how much time you have spent on each mission. There are 48 missions to pass, and many contain different challenges, obstacles and dangers.
Some of your goo balls will be of special kind which should be used spent wisely. All in all this game is very challenging and you will have to invest some time to learn the most efficient strategy for solving problems, but one thing is for sure: this game is very very addictive, and you have to be careful when you start it as you can easily spent long hours before you notice how much time has passed. Graphic design of the game is excellent but the controls could be definitely improved a bit. So far there is no multiplayer option which is honestly a surprising thing these days. If you like challenging games, World of Goo is a great choice. Sincerely recommended for iPhone and iPad players!

The price of the machine will be $200 which sounds quite affordable, at least to arcade game fans. If you want to try out Atari’s joysticks the price is $60. So what can we say: if you are one of our older readers which grow up during the last century, such a machine will certainly cause a big smile on your face and provide you with a lot of fun!
We guess you are as curious about the new iPhone as we are, but iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S still hasn’t being announced by Apple while at the same time anticipation of it’s launch is growing larger every day. And not surprisingly, it seems that network carriers are as interested as individual users in the latest Apple products. It seems that after Spring, Deutsche Telekom is also highly interested in the next iPhone and according to some sources they have already allowed their users to reserve this device through a direct request of the next iPhone model.
So if this is true if you are in Germany you can already claim an iPhone 5, but keep in mind that informations on prices, packages release dates or anything else isn’t yet published. So again we have a rumor, thin yet real.
Let us know what do you think: when will Apple launch iPhone 5? You can write your guess in the comments section bellow.
Well known game developing house, Appy has again released an interesting game for iOS devices. This time they have made an interesting arcade game named Stack King for iPhone and iPad. You can get this game from iTUnes App Store for only $0.99.
Stack King will require some serious gaming skills with your hands and some quick reflexes coupled with decision making. Your goal in this game is to arrange stack after stack while they move from one side to the other side of your display. Every new level brings new challenges and possibilities. You can play against your friends or other players worldwide through the game center. Can you become the king of virtual stacks?
When playing against your friends you will be red and your competitor becomes the blue player. If you prove yourself as a precise stacker you will get higher attacking powers. The logic of the game is simple: a better stack will get you better attacks. You need to stack up to the top and at the same time you must attack your friends stack. There are four different ways of attacking your enemy.
The game is interesting and even somewhat addicting to play especially when you grasp the game mechanic. If you are into arcade games this is one which you should definitely check out. Recommended for hot summer days!
Pirates! By one of the best game creators ever, Sid Meyer has just being launched as an iPad game. It is one of the games that will be somewhat well known to older generations of gamers. The original Pirates! Game was published long time ago, believe it or not all the way back in 1987! The game we see today is of course much better in technical terms and graphic art but still it has captured the fun that the original game offered to players for long time.
For those of you who see this game for first time here is a short description. This game will take you to the world of high see adventures, sailing and plundering of ships and ports across the ocean. You will be able to sail with 27 different pirate ships and use treasure maps, perform rescue operations and naval operations against your enemies. You will get to see naval combat on open seas and hand to hand combat on land in ports, taverns and forts. Your enemies will be such famous pirates as Henry Morgan, Captain Kid and other legendary buccaneers.
Sid Meier’s Pirates! Is available only for iPad and features intuitive and fast touch controls. The graphics is really cool and you will immerse yourself in the 18 century adventure as never before. If you ever enjoyed watching movies like “Pirates of the Caribbean” this is just a game you would like!
You can get the game for $3.99 in the iTunes app store. Enjoy, and let us know how many ships and ports did you plunder!
If you are an Apple fan and also know a thing or two about internet domain names and such geeky stuff you will be intrigued that Apple just purchased two important domain names whiteiphone.com and iphone4.com. It seems that Cupertino based company has already pointed these newly purchased domain names to their web servers. Interestingly it seems that Apple is not in possession of other iPhone related domain names like iPhone 5 iphone 6 and so for.
Iphone 4 was initially launched in summer of 2010 and has since then become a global success with millions of devices sold and shipped worldwide. Nobody knows for sure why it took so long for Apple to get this important domains and since we are close to the launch of Apple’s next iPhone model we are not sure why Apple bothered at all.
There are other interesting domain names like ipad.com and others which colud be of immense use to Apple but are still out there available to highest bidder. To remind you Steve Jobs and his company have bought the iPhone.com domain for one million $US. Who knows how much is iPhone5.com worth already?
