Apple has announced to release the new iPhone 3GS on the 19th of June.

The 3.0 Firmware will be available for regular iPhone 3G users on the 17th of June.
The key improvements for the iPhone 3GS Model:
- - Performance increase: The new iPhone 3GS processor is clocked at twice the speed of the iPhone 3G model, which will result in a nice performance increase.
- - More Memory: The iPhone 3G is available in 16GB model and a 32GB model.
- - Improved Camera with auto-focus ( 3.0 megapixel versus 2.0 megapixel on the 3G model) You can zoom in and out by sliding your finger over the screen.
- - Video Recording support. ( You can now record video’s with your iPhone 3GS 30 Fps – video Editing support).
- - Voice control: Voice control will let you play a song just by asking for it and even access a Genius-driven play list with a voice command.
- - Build in Compass
- - Landscape keyboard
- - Improved 3D graphics: Improved 3D graphics processor, and Open GL 2.0 ES support. This is great news for gamers, as this is a major improvement!
- - HSDPA network support. AT&T’s HSDPA network is even faster than the 3G network, it also has a faster Internet connection.
- - Improved battery Life – The table below shows the important improvements.
